Capitol of the bishopric of New Mexico, back when the
Mexicans still ran the state. Thereafter an important trading center
and gathering point. The city is still lovely and many media figures
and artists maintain residence there. I suspect that Bob's song "Santa
Fe" refers to the modern city.
